PIRACY :: Pirate Bay rears its ugly head – Again!


The Pirate Bay has been already been resurrected but this time by the isoHunt torrent site, which has launched the stalwart piracy site as oldpiratebay.org following its takedown by Swedish police a few days ago. However, unlike previous resurrections the new site is not a simple “mirror” and is offering fresh content including the latest film and music releases for peer-to-peer downloading as well as linking to the old The Pirate Bay archives, not that difficult in itself, as The Pirate Bay’s torrent database has always been freely available for download. In a statement, isoHunt explained its reason for bringing back The Pirate Bay: "As you probably know the beloved Pirate Bay website is gone for now. It'll be missed." "In its honour we are making the oldpiratebay.org search. We, the isohunt.to team, copied the database of Pirate Bay in order to save it for generations of users. Nothing will be forgotten. Keep on believing, keep on sharing." I guess watch this space…
