MOBILE - Great Infographic this morning published by Gerardo Lara (@GLaraLopez) Based on observations by IT Admin on managing systems and mobile devices used by their employees. “Why Desktops are here to stay” 100% of respondents used their desktop, 68% rely on their desktop for system performance, 60% depend on it for productivity, 76% prefer desktops for content creation and 95% feel they provide better security. “Why Mobile device usage is growing” 97% of employees use a mobile device to accomplish tasks of which 76% are on Android, 90% use mobile to access email, 66% mobile device usage is by sales and marketing staff and 92% need mobile devices to access work anywhere, anytime!
